Charles River Women’s RFC (Boston, MA) Seeks Head Coach

Boston-based DII Charles River Women’s Rugby Football Club (CRWRFC) is seeking a head coach.  We are looking for:

Experience/Qualifications:
-USA rugby certified or seeking certification, preferably with prior coaching experience
-Updated on all current rules and laws
-Able to create and execute organized and effective rugby practice plans
-Comfortable coaching players of all levels
-Communicates effectively and gives and receives feedback in order to help improve the club

Time Commitment:
-Must be able to attend at least 90% of practices (twice a week), games (Saturdays), and tournaments

CRWRFC is looking for someone enthusiastic about rugby and coaching a solid squad of women, to help push us to the next level and continue our competitive success.

This is a competitively paid position, dependent on experience.

About the team:
Started in 2005, CRWRFC has quickly grown to a DII senior women’s club in Boston, MA, part of the New England Rugby Football Union (NERFU).  This past fall we went undefeated in DIII, and are excited to have been relegated up a division to DII.  We are looking for a coach that will help us build on this solid foundation and continue to grow as a strong presence in DII, NERFU, and the greater USA Rugby community.
