  1. I understand the desire to limit travel, but it seems silly to have multiple teams from the same union in the same quarter of the bracket.  They have already proven their place in the standings, why should they have to travel just to play a team that they played in their regional playoffs?  This is especially true in D2, where teams from the Northeast and Midwest occupy three of the four slots in their quarter of the bracket.  Why not just divide the nation into eight sections (D2 is already in eight regional unions) and have the champions from each regional playoff compete at nationals?  In that scenario, in D2, you might have Ship vs Lee, Norwich vs AIC, Winona vs Wyoming, and Pacific #1 vs So. Cal. #1.  Everything else could be played out in the regional playoffs, which would make them more important, perhaps even making them into spectator events.

  2. You are to be congratulated for stating the schedule and time of events for this week-end’s  events at Steuber. It is very difficult and frustrating to find information.
    Thank you posting this information.
