WANTED: Head Women’s Rugby Coach at York College, PA

The York College Women’s Rugby team is looking for a new coach who is available Tuesday-Friday from 4-6pm and games on Saturdays. Our previous coach is an alumni who is looking for a full-time business position. That leaves us without a coach for the fall.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for rugby and who can bring us to the next level. It is suggested to be a certified coach by USA Rugby, but not required. We have expectations for a coach who is going to push us during games and practice, while motivating us to become better players and athletes.

We are currently a DII team and are hoping to make it to the MARC cup finals. We consist of a strong group of veterans, an enthusiastic group of rookies, and a team that is dedicated. Everyone wants to further her skills and we need a coach who is going to help us get to the next level.

Our first game is on September 15th and our season goes until mid November. Games are on Saturdays and start at 11am. We play mostly in Southern PA but sometimes travel to Philadelphia. Unfortunately, we do not have the funds to make this a paid position, but gas to games will be paid for.
