BOULDER, Colo. — USA Rugby is proud to announce the boys and girls rosters for the2013 High School All-American Stars vs. Stripes Game. The best boys and girls have been selected from the seven Regional All-Star Tournaments across the United States to play in the July 13 Stars vs. Stripes Game in Greeley, Colo.
Players will arrive at camp July 9 and work with top coaches, medical staff, fitness and nutrition specialists and even college counseling support. USA Rugby Womens Eagles Head Coach Pete Steinberg will partner with the coach development staff to provide a learning environment for players and coaches alike.
“These young men and women have a fantastic opportunity to take advantage of the USA Rugby resources both on and off of the field at the 2013 High School All-American Stars vs. Stripes camp,” USA Rugby High Performance Player Development Manager Luke Gross said. “From nutritional information to college counseling and individual direction from national team coaches, these potential Olympians and Rugby World Cup participants will benefit throughout the entire week.”
The boys and girls will be divided into a ‘Stars’ team and a ‘Stripes’ team, playing a showcase game on the morning of July 13. These players embody the best of our high school rugby in the USA and are future participants in college and potentially Eagle programs.
