Providence Women’s Rugby Seeks Head Coach

The Providence Women’s Rugby Team is seeking a qualified coach for the Fall 2014 season.  Providence Women play in the highly competitive NERFU division I bracket. Player experience ranges from a season to 10+ years. We practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays and hold matches at fields in or near Providence (Pawtucket, Seekonk, East Providence).

Requirements:

  • Ability to plan and attend two practices a week and Saturday matches.
  • Ability to provide instruction and encouragement to players of all skill levels and positions.
  • Willingness to provide feedback individually and collectively.
  • A passion to nourish and evolve club pride and culture.
  • Open communication with club officers and players in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment.
  • USA Rugby certification or a willingness to obtain certification prior to the start of the fall season.

Compensation will be based on training and experience. Interested candidates will be invited for an interview with a selection committee.
