Beantown Rugby Currently Seeking Assistant Coach

Beantown RugbyBeantown Rugby Football Club is seeking qualified assistant and technical coaches to complete the coaching staff of our competitive D1 15s team, located in Boston, MA. While focused primarily on filling the assistant coach role, Beantown welcomes the opportunity to work with guest coaches focused on technical expertise. Coaches will work closely with Head Coach Kelly Seary to plan and run practices; develop and execute game plans for matches; contribute to player selections; and develop the skills of athletes on the team. Beantown values a high level of communication, inclusion of players of all skill levels, and commitment to a competitive and positive playing environment.

Beantown practices every Tuesday and Thursday from late August to early November in the fall, and mid-March to mid-June in the spring. Regular season matches will take place throughout the Northeast Rugby Union region, with an additional 3-5 matches a year requiring further travel to destinations across the US and Canada for playoffs or additional competition.

Assistant Coach:

We are seeking motivated candidates with experience playing and/or coaching high-level rugby. For this position, all match travel costs will be reimbursed by Beantown. In addition, there is a modest annual stipend for this position. Assistant coaches are expected to attend the majority of practices and games.
