Summary of Role

Part Time, Permanent (7 hours per week, 30 weeks per year)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a key member of the Sports Performance Department. De Montfort University is undergoing a huge period of change for sport. Having recently invested over 10 million in sports facilities, there is now a desire to increase and enhance the sporting offer to the student body. Many aspects of sport administration are in the process of moving from the Students” Union to the University, so there are many exciting times ahead.

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Women”s Rugby Coach to lead the development of the DMU Women”s Rugby. You will be responsible for improving the performance of Women”s Rugby 1st Team.

You will have a minimum of a UKCC Level 2 qualification (or equivalent). You will have substantial and demonstrable experience Rugby coaching, ideally within Higher Education.

This role is for 7 hours per week, for 30 weeks of the year, including training sessions held on Monday evenings, and matches on Wednesday afternoons (training session days can be altered). You will need to be flexible to attend competitions which may take place across the region and beyond.
