Sevens Rugby World Cup Set to Kick Off in Dubai – Women

World Cup Qualifying battles raged all over the world in 2008 as countries across the six IRB regions went head to head for coveted places at the first ever Women’s Rugby World Cup Sevens competition in Dubai. The 16 teams who will compete in the women’s competition in Dubai beginning this Thursday are: Brazil, England, Netherlands, Russia, France, Spain, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Uganda, Japan, Thailand, China, USA and Canada.
