The US has been divided into three competitive regions. MidAtlantic, Northeast, and USA Rugby South are part of competitive region 3 (CR3). West and Midwest are in competitive region 2 and Pacific and Southern California are in competitive region 1.
During this second year of the competitive region structure, each competitive region receives four seeds to USA Rugby Nationals. The seeds are assigned as follows and the schedule is listed below (THE SEEDING BELOW HAS BEEN UPDATED & CONFIRMED PER USARUGBY AS OF OCT 6, 2010)

The Austin Valkyries and Your Scrumhalf Connection are happy to be hosting the Emirates Airline USA Rugby Round of 12 in Austin, TX. For information on the tournament, click on the Rd of 12 link on the tool bar above, or go here.
The rankings for CR1 can be found here,
CR2 is split between West and Midwest. West doesn’t have a central source so I just make up the rankings (updated websites would help alot!) Midwest has rankings, they can be found here.
CR3 rankings can be found here.

How has CR2 played so many games already?
Several teams have been playing since late august and most teams have attended at least one tournament already.
will atlanta and nova be included in the stats for CR3? there should be 22 D1 teams total, so are some just not playing at all?
I’m assuming they just haven’t played a match yet as there are quite a fe teams in CR3. I’ll go back and add all the teams in a bit so it’s more clear.
Thanks!
Wendy

For some of the Midwest part of the CR2. However, that only includes league games. Hope people read and update websites soon!
I was wondering why that table didn’t match what some of the clubs had for games. Makes sense that it would only include league games. The West isn’t doing league matches this year, so their table includes all games.
Thanks!
Wendy
CR1 has it’s final weekend of league matches on October 16-17 (schedule is posted at SCRFU.org –> Schedule, for matchups). Once the league games are finished, then the top four seeds will be set.
Thank you for those details! I heard from a few other CR1 reps now and have updated the fixtures page. Thanks!
Wendy,
Who is Cr#2 and cr#3 has not been determined yet. That game will be played tomorrow Atlanta vs Philadelphia at 11:30
