Blog Rugby de Calcinha: Brazilian Women’s Rugby

This week I wanted to spotlight another blog that I really enjoy. The Blog Rugby de Calcinha was created by Brazilian ruggers. They were so excited to show Brazil how strong women rugby players can be…the blog started out as a joke but then quickly became quite serious! Normally they write about clubs (giving special space to new clubs), tournaments, histories, and everything we can say about the Female Universe of Rugby.

In Brazil there is not a support TV channel, so the Internet as an important tool to make information accessible for all. I am happy to work with Blog Rugby de Calcinha in their quest to bring women’s rugby to the front! Make sure that you click on the link up there and please note that the page is in Portuguese, but you can either translate the page or use this cool plug-in to have your browser translate it for you.
