Hong Kong Women’s Sevens Training Squad Forms

A training squad of 17 have begun regular training sessions. The group is possibly the most diverse of all national teams, consisting of HK Chinese locals, HK born locals of foreign backgrounds, and international players from Canada, the United States, New Zealand and France.

Veterans such as Royce Chan, Hoty Chan and Samantha Scott are joined by a new crop of players who have returned after graduating from foreign universities. Rose Fong (Leeds Metropolitan University), Colleen Tjosvold (Carleton College, MN) and Daniella May Lee Means (University of Nottingham) have been fostered through HK’s youth squads and their returns to the senior teams have been eagerly anticipated.
