This weekend the Canadian InterUniversity Sports Womens varsity rugby season kicks off , this season we have 28 teams playing in five divisions from the Atlantic provinces across Canada to Brtish Columbia.
This level of rugby is equivalent to D1 rugby in the USA University system. Winners of each Division along with the Host team will meet at the end of the season to compete for the title of CIS Womens Rugby Champion.
This year with the support of Your Scrum Half Connection we will be providing game updates , scores and rankings to help promote the Canadain University Womens Game. This past weekend the Ohio State team travelled to Toronto to play two exhibition games against York University. York won both games but it was a great experience for all the players that participated a return game will be played at Ohio State at then end of the school year.

Concordia, Sherbroke
