This year the WPL Championships will be held in conjunction with the USA Rugby vs Maori All Blacks match in Philadelphia, PA on Nov 8 & 10, 2013. The WPL Championships will be held on Nov 8 & 10, 2013 at the Garden State Rotary Sports Complex in Cherry Hill, NJ. The USA Rugby Men’s match is on Nov 9, 2013 at 7pm at PPL Park in Chester, PA.
Last year the Glendale Raptors joined the WPL and made it to the WPL final to face the Berkeley All Blues. The All Blues held fast and defeated Glendale 39-5 to retain their title as National Champions. This year Berkeley struggled to return to their Championship form with a 4-2 league schedule and will need to defeat an undefeated Glendale team to return to the Championship.
