Fall Regional USA Rugby Women’s Collegiate Championship

This new Fall and Spring Regional is a bit confusing! Lets see if we can make it a bit easier with a quick summary and then we will get into the nitty gritty. Half the women’s collegiate rugby teams are playing for a Fall Regional Women’s Rugby Collegiate Championship and the rest will play in the Spring Regional. Eventually these two winners from each division will face off in the ultimate Women’s Collegiate Rugby Championship.

November 15-16, ACRA is hosting a Fall Regional complete with D1 and D2 Women’s Collegiate Teams. Each event is hosted at four separate locations, Dartmouth College, Notre Dame College, University of Northern Iowa, and Vassar College. Two teams from each division will qualify for the Regional Semifinal and Final rounds at the Indian Trails Sports Complex in Palm Coast, Fla., Dec. 6-7, 2014.

The Spring Regional will more than likely be held at multiple locations as well and then the eventual winners will  in the Women’s Division I National Championships May 9, 2015, for the right to be named National Champion.
