Each year, the Washington Women’s Rugby Football Club, better known as the DC Furies, holds one of the largest annual all-women’s rugby tournaments in the nation, with teams ranging from high school to premier in attendance. This year the tournament will be held the weekend of April 16 and 17th in the DC Area and this year the theme is board games!
Teams from Colorado to New York to DC and everywhere in between have attended the tournament and this year is sure to be no different. With four brackets (high school/U19, college, club open, and premier) there are opportunities for every level of club to join in on the fun and connect with the larger women’s rugby community.
Each team is guaranteed not only at least three matches during the tournament but also an action-packed weekend filled with great competition and fun.
