With just a month to go before the USA Rugby Women’s Rugby Super Series, another National All-Star Competition is taking place this week at the University of Northern Colorado. The camp runs June 2-7 and includes fifty three athletes vying for a spot the the Super Series.
You may think, wait, isn’t there some other rugby this weekend? There is and it seems to be another weird scheduling snafu as it’s also the same weekend as the USA Rugby Club National Championships and the Collegiate Rugby Championships. USA Rugby did note that Head Coach, Pete Steinberg will lead NASCs as well as attend the Club Championships Saturday.
Forty-one of the athletes invited to the NASC are currently in the Women’s Eagles or age-grade player pools.
