This week we’re wrapping up week four the Six Nations tournament, attendance records are being broken at the Six Nation matches, a few other tests were played this week and a new fresh HSBC Sevens Series in 2020. We’ve got more than those highlights, so keep reading!

  • Round Four – Six Nations
    • England defeated Italy 55-0 in front of 10,545 supporters to continue their unbeaten run in the Women’s Six Nations
    • A 6,047-strong crowd also filled Energia Park to watch Ireland’s 47-17 defeat to France
  • Saracens and England prop Hannah Botterman has left her painter and decorator days behind to become a professional rugby player
  • The France U20s beat England in Strasbourg
  • Irish Combined Forces Rugby faced off against French Armed Forces Rugby for the first time ever
  • World Rugby announces a new-look men’s and women’s HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series which includes at least six combined events, as the women’s series increases to eight rounds for the first time in its history over the next four-year cycle
