USA speedster Naya Tapper hopes to light up Hong Kong Sevens https://buff.ly/2AqQ9Me

4:00 PM – Sep 26, 2019
Naya Tapper looks forward to Hong Kong Sevens. Hong Kong is one of a record eight stops for the 2019-20 women’s HSBC World Sevens Series.

“I think it is very empowering for us and it’s part of our true entrance into the rugby world because Hong Kong is one of the biggest tournaments where the players will probably experience the biggest crowds and largest cheers,” said Tapper.

“So to be part of that team playing in Hong Kong I think is a big accomplishment, not only for USA as a team but our country as a whole. It just shows that we are trying to engrave rugby into the community and playing tournaments like Hong Kong will give [women’s] rugby more exposure in the USA and around the world.”
