Italy and Japan drew 17-17 in an exciting matchup. Japan scored first though Kasai in the 9th minute. Italy answered at the 23rd and 35th minute taking the lead. Just before the half, Japan touched down to make it 12-10 Italy. The second half was a back and forth slog with the first points of the half coming at the 57th minute by Italy’s Cammarano. Japan brought it even at the 58th minute through Saito.

“The beauty of rugby is that everyone is different shapes and sizes and as long as they play rugby well, no one cares about that. There are so many different positions that there’s something for every one really. Like I’m a different size to a winger and that’s fine because it suits me to my position [prop].”
