Our feature in women’s rugby this week is the start of the 2020 Six Nations. This was perhaps the best start to the tournament with all three matches tightly contested with a margin of 4-6 points between teams.

Ireland started off the weekend strong battling Scotland to an eventual 18-14 win. Wales attempted to weather a strong Italian side but narrowly lost 15-19 while England snuck by France 19-13.

We may have seen the Championship match on opening weekend…but we shall see. Week 2 will see France vs Italy, Scotland vs England and Ireland vs Wales.
