We’re pausing our social media and any posts to the website through the weekend in honor of the passing of Kandis “Cookie” Ruiz. Kandis was an early lover of our site & she told everyone she met about us. You’d often find her at events handing out shirts, stickers & evangelizing us.
Personally, we watched her grow in the sport of rugby from a young athlete to a mature experienced player. We were also lucky enough to play alongside her, coach & call her a friend. She loved to play but will be remembered for her love of life off the pitch the most. #withyou
