USA Club Rugby National Championships - June 2-4

Update: The USA Rugby Club Competitions Committee has released a website for all Nationals info: https://xplorer.rugby/senior-club-council/news.

The USA Rugby Club National Championships are set to take place from June 2nd to June 4th at the St. Charles Soccer Complex Park, which is located in a suburb of St, Louis, MO.

Teams from Division 1 and Division 2 will compete for the championship titles. On Friday afternoon, the D1 teams will take to the field, while the D2 teams will play on Saturday. The Finals for both divisions will be held on Sunday.

Watch all the matches on the USA Club Rugby Youtube channel.

In the 2022 edition of the USA Rugby Club National Championships, NOVA emerged victorious in the D1 division, while Providence claimed the D2 title. As the defending champions, NOVA will be looking to repeat their success in the D1 competition (they also won in 2019). However, Providence has moved up to the D1 division this year, which means that a new D2 champion will be crowned in 2023.

The seeding for the 2023 tournament is expected to remain the same as last year. This means that in the D1 division, the West will face off against the Pacific, while the Atlantic will take on the Midwest. In the D2 division, the Northern teams will compete against the Atlantic teams, and the Gulf Coast will play against the Pacific teams.

Super Regional Championships

The Super Regional events across four regions will continue this year. Each region is determining how their Super Regional will work but in the end only one winner from each region will advance to the USA Rugby National Club XVs Championships.
