The 2024-25 USA Club Women’s Rugby season is officially underway! The start of the season varies by region—teams in the East typically kick off in the fall, while the West gets going in the spring. Through our continuing partnership with The Rugby Breakdown and the USA Rugby Senior Club Competition Committee, we’re excited to bring you our comprehensive guide and weekly standings for the 2024-25 season.
In this guide, we’ll break down the divisions across USA Club Women’s Rugby and give you an inside look at the competitive landscape. We’re tracking standings based on Rugby Xplorer (RX) or individual Union scoring systems if those are being utilized. Our updates go out weekly, but if RX hasn’t been updated, we can only report what’s available at the time.
As the season progresses, we’ll keep you updated on Union Playoffs, Super Regionals, and National Championships, ensuring you stay informed throughout the season.
Looking for rankings? While we’re not tackling that just yet, Jackie Finlan at TRB has it covered. Check out her rankings here (subscription required).

Super Regional Championships
Super Regional events are key in the USA Club Rugby XVs National Championship pathway, with each of the four regions (Pacific, Northern, Gulf Coast, and Atlantic) determining a champion to advance to the National Finals.
Each region establishes its own format, potentially involving a Round of 16 or Quarterfinal structure. Unions within a region may also opt to crown regional champions within the Super Regionals. The event acts as the first round of the National Championship Series, and winners move on to the National Finals. Unions are encouraged to make multi-year hosting agreements, and in some cases, Super Regional champions may compete against each other before the finals, with approval from the Senior Club Competitions Committee.
