Massive win for @EnglandRugby in Clermont today in front of 13,700 - the first time the Red Roses have won on French soil since 2012. Not the most flattering of victories to start their autumn tests, but job done. Over to Exeter next week... https://t.co/iH275XI78U

France hosted England at the Stade Marcel-Michelin in front of 13,700 spectators. England came away with the win and it’s their first on French soil since 2012. Another way to look at this match was professional vs semi-professional. England has a full roster of players on contract while France only has a few.

Ireland's last ditch loss to Wales today means a miserable 2019 results wise comes to an end. After 6 games this year they have just one win - over Scotland in the 6 Nations. https://t.co/muSLkpL82C pic.twitter.com/DXdtVdprJH

In a tight affair, Ireland led Wales 13-10 with under ten minutes to go. A last second try from Wales scrum half Keira Bevan at the 83rd minute put the win in the Welsh camp. Wales bounced back from their loss against Spain to take this match 15-13.
Wales next faces Scotland on November 17.
Ireland will be looking towards the 2020 Six Nations.

Australia took the overall Oceania 7s title defeating New Zealand 12-0. This was to be expected but the real drama was in the quarterfinals. Fiji became the ninth women’s team to confirm their place at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games after defeating Papua New Guinea 36-0. Fiji fell to Australia 24-12 in the semi-finals but they had done what they came to do.
