Chris Lane new head coach Dutch Sevens Ladies

800_lanechrisChris Lane and the Dutch Rugby Board (NRB) have reached an agreement on an appointment as head coach of the Women’s Rugby Sevens until the summer of 2016. The 47-year-old Australian is from December 1, 2013 officially employed by the NRA.

Lane comes from the Australian Rugby Union (ARU), where he was also head coach of the Women’s Sevens team.Previously, he worked as a coach in the program High Performance program of the ARU.

The brand new head coach let know to look for the new challenge. “I have the past two years, the Women’s Sevens team closely monitored and I have always been their rugby skills and athletic ability impressed. There is a training program of world top level and I look forward to lift. “This program with my skills, knowledge and experience to an even higher level.

Using the Womens Rugby Recruitment (WRR) by Lee Bennett and his Hendriks Royd Lane and NRB come together. Royd Hendriks, European Recruit Manager for WRR says to be having as a candidate. Lane pushed forward proudly “WRR was temporarily colored orange during the recruitment process, because for the last three candidates were all represented by WRR.”

In late January, the NRB will organize a press conference, in which Lane and his program for the ladies sevens to the European Championships in June 2014 are presented to the press.
