The Mexico women’s rugby team has won the 2014 NACRA7s Championship! They prevailed over Trinidad and Tobago 40-5 to win the title and book their spot to Toronto and the 2015 Pan Am games. To get to the final they allowed zero points in pool play and in the Quarter Finals defeated Turks & Caicos 43-0. In the Semi-finals they defeated Bermuda 31-0 as well.
In other action, the 3rd vs 4th match pitted the Cayman Islands against Bermuda, Cayman won narrowly 17-14. In the Plate Final, Jamaica won a tight match over St. Lucia 12-5 while the Bahamas claimed 7th over Turks & Caicos winning 22-0.
Some lopsided scores, especially in the final, but congratulations to all of the teams involved!
