Philadelphia Women’s Rugby to Host Annual Collegiate Clinic

Philadelphia Women's RugbyJoin Philadelphia Women’s Rugby on Sunday, February 14th from 8:30am-12pm at Temple University for a few hours of instructional rugby. The Philadelphia Women’s Rugby team along with head coach Bob Weir are looking forward to hosting local area college rugby players and providing them with individualized coaching and introducing new skill sets that will advance their rugby knowledge.

PWRFC Head Coach, Bob Weir, has developed a clinic curriculum according to participants’ needs, interests, and skill levels. Bob is an International Rugby Board (IRB) Coach Educator and Trainer, a Coach Development Course Leader for the USA Rugby Coaching Development Program and a graduate of USA Rugby’s first Advanced Coaching Course in Glendale.

The clinic is free with donation of a canned good to support Philabundance or a $5 donation to support Philabundance.

Philly Women will host a Meet-and-Greet immediately following the Clinic at the Draught Horse on Temple’s campus. We will provide light appetizers free of charge, and you are welcomed and encouraged to purchase anything else off of the menu. This event is great way to get to know PWRFC and learn more about rugby after college.
