Gilda’s Club
Gilda’s Club provides a meeting place where men, women and children living with cancer, along with their families and friends, join with others to build social and emotional support as a supplement to medical care. Free-of-charge and non profit, Gilda’s Club offers support and networking groups, lectures, workshops and social events in a non-residential, homelike setting.

The Tournament
The tournament was started in 2001 to honor and remember Dianna Orsini, the wife of a member of the Highlander Rugby Club, who passed away from cancer. Since that time the tournament has raised approximately $65,000. The TACKLE CANCER 10s is aiming to battle and beat breast cancer, the second leading cause of death in women. In Pennsylvania 2,100 women were expected to die from breast cancer in 2005. Fighting with ferocity and tenacity is necessary to win the battle. Support the tournament on August 16th and help to make the tournament a success on behalf of a worthy charity, Gilda’s Club.
