Please take advantage of this opportunity for CDP workshops in the South, they are few and far between. Beneficial to all coaches at all levels, and required for some. Anyone who even looks like they might ever coach your team should attend.

From personal experience I will tell you, it really is best to complete the on-line modules PRIOR to attending. You do build on that content in the workshops.

In my discussions with many of you, the topic that comes up over and over is lack of coaches for teams. Here is where you can train people who have shown interest but didn’t have the skill set. Retrain coaches who might be coming back to your club. Keep your own skills sharp with new techniques and network with other coaches. There are endless good reasons for attending USA Rugby CDP Workshops.

Deep South Awarded Coach Development Program (CDP) Workshop in New Orleans, LA

Mobile, Ala. – USA Rugby has formally awarded the Deep South’s CDP workshop to be held on September 27th & 28th, 2008 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Both Introducing Rugby and Developing Rugby courses will be offered concurrently during this two-day instructional workshop.

Registration has been opened, and may be found at . The cost of the two-day workshop will be $125 for early registrants and will be held on Tulane University’s campus. Interested individuals should have already registered in the Coaches Portal, if not, please do so immediately. In addition, workshop participants must complete all modules relating to the course of your choice, including the IRB RugbyReady and Positive Coaching Alliance modules. Rate changes are as follows:
