Rugger Photo of the Week – The Leaves are Changing…

Rugger Photo of the Week

Welcome to another new segment on Your Scrumhalf Connection! With the immense success of Rugby Video Monday and the Monthly Free Raffle (happening again around Dec 1)…I thought it might be fun to throw in a good photo once a week or so.

For the first photo I wanted to capture one of my favorite moments…the time right before a match begins. Each player is preparing themselves mentally and physically for the match and has their own pattern or method. The crisp fall leaves in the background mean that it is perfect rugby playing weather and that the rugby Gods are smiling down…

  1. I agree…the magic moment right before a match is one of the best.

What about that moment right before a try is scored and you can feel it? Love that moment as well…

    Thanks for posting!

  2. This is really a great shot. The view of the fall leaves was something from the midwest I really missed when I lived in San Antonio years ago. South Texas just does not get those beautiful falls like the midwest.

The winters are a helluva lot more tolerable, though.
