BBC AMERICA To Air Six Nations Live / Details from Rugby America and USA Rugby

from Rugby America:

The good news about rugby on television just keeps on rolling. This time around, the BBC has announced that they will, once again, be airing select Six Nations matches. Last year, BBC AMERICA aired one Six Nations match per week and are ready to do it all over again.

The RBS Six Nations Championship, one of Europe’s biggest annual sporting events, will broadcast live on BBC AMERICA. The legendary rugby tournament features England, France, Ireland, Scotland, Italy and Wales as they vie for the championship over seven weeks.

France currently holds the Grand Slam title having sealed the victory at home last year, defeating England and unseating previous champion, Ireland.

As an added bonus, each match will be preceded by an hour-long live pre-game show. BBC AMERICA’s first match will be from the Stande de France, where France faces off against Scotland, on Saturday, February 5th, 12:00p.m.ET/PT.

The rest of the Six Nations schedule will be released shortly. Stay tuned to Rugby America for further announcements regarding BBC AMERICA airing the Six Nations.
