WANTED: Police Officer and Firefighters for World Police and Fire Games in New York – August 28-30, 2011

I’m looking for any players or old girls (have to be a police officer or firefighter) who might be interested in playing in the World Police and Fire games in New York. The rugby games will be played August 28-30. It’s 7’s and we can roster 12 girls. Team Canada just registered one team and are working on a second side. We need 6-8 teams for a women’s division.

7 Aside Tournament – Unisex
12 person team plus one (1) non-playing coach. A player may compete in only one division and on only one team.

Divisions
Open – 18 years through 34 years.

Division I
Division II

Senior (B) – 35 years & over as of the first day of the Games.

Master (B) – 45 years & over as of the first day of the Games.

Is there a Women’s division?

No, there are only Unisex divisions at this time. If 6 to 8 women’s teams are willing to register it is possible that a Women’s division could be added.

Does there need to be a woman on a Unisex team?
No, Unisex division teams consist of all men, all women or any combination thereof.
