University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Selling Tickets for 2011 CRC 7s Tournament

As your site is the prime spot for all things women’s rugby, I wondered if you might pass along a link to your readers.

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill women’s team is excited to be competing in the inaugural women’s competition at the 2011 CRC 7s event. As a condition of participating, the team has been given an allotment of 150 two day ticket packages to sell at a discounted price  ($38 flat through us, over $40 after handling fees anywhere else).  We’ve sold tickets to alums, parents, team members and other supporters, but we still have a limited number of discount tickets leftover that we’d like to make available to the general rugby public at our discounted pricing. As such, we’ve set up a sales portal on our team’s web page at: http://uncwrfc.com/sevens.htm where anyone can order tickets from us, and have them shipped to their home in time for the event! As the team is entirely student funded, and as such reliant on fund raising, dues and donations to pay our bills, we’ve got to get creative in selling our ticket allotment! The tickets are general admission and not only covers you for both Saturday and Sunday at the sevens event (which as you know is being held at one of the newest and coolest stadiums in Philadelphia, PPL Park), but also gets you into the Dropkick Murphy’s show in the park Saturday night after the games are over!
