WANTED: Head Coach for the Boston Belles Rugby 7s Club

The Boston Belles Rugby 7s Club is currently taking coaching applications for this summer. We are a competitive 7s team looking for the right individual to help our team learn and grow. We plan on holding two practices a week beginning in mid-May and attending tournaments throughout the Northeast, including travel to Philly, NY, and San Francisco for club Nationals in August.  Applicants should be willing to commit to the majority of practices and tournaments.  The club will help to defray travel costs for Nationals if at all possible.

• Overall direction and goals for the program during the term of the appointment

The Boston Belles was founded in May of 2010. We are made up of both college and club teams from the Greater Boston area. Many of our players have played for the U23, Senior Select Side 15s, All-American and National teams for both 15s and 7s. Though relatively new teams, the Belles have had much success thus far, coming in 3rd place at the National Invitational 7s tournament last summer. We look forward to an upcoming season of great play and broadening our skills.
