45th annual Denver 7s Rugby Tournament. Saturday July 21, 2012

Please update your calendars to reflect the next Denver 7s Rugby Tournament; Saturday, July 21, 2012.

In 2011 we hosted 40 teams on 4 fields and it is likely we will expand to 5 fields for 2012.

We have negotiated the use of the MLS Stadium at Dicks Sporting Goods Park.

The plan is to play the 1st / 2nd and 3rd / 4th place matches for each bracket (High School Boys, College, Women, Social Men & Qualifier) inside the stadium as well as a few of the lower placing matches in the Men’s Qualifier bracket.

Most of the matches will still be on the fields outside the Stadium with teams filtering into the Stadium as we get into the latter rounds.

8 to 12 team Men’s Qualifier bracket,
8 to 12 team Men’s Collegiate bracket,
6 to 8 team Women’s bracket,
12 team Men’s Social bracket,
12 team Boy’s HS bracket,
Youth matches, & perhaps Girl’s HS.

Full size grass (not synthetic) pitches with first kick offs at 9 am and finishing by 6 pm at Dicks Sporting Goods Park.

We also should have our event dedicated web site up and running by the beginning of 2012.
