CANADIAN UNIVERSITY SEVENS IN LANGFORD

As reported by Rugby Canada:

In day two of the women’s tournament, Guelph University continued to dominate the competition by besting UBC with a score of 52-0 to secure the Cup. The finals are played with ten minute halves compared to pool play that has sevens minute halves this has a huge impact on the game scores.

University of Guelph’s Brittany Benn was named the tournment’s MVP for her outstanding play throughout the tournament.  Guelph completed the double winning both the CIS 15’s and the 7’s this rugby season congratulations go out to Colette McAuley their head coach.

The women’s Plate went to UVic 2 after they bested University of British Columbia Okanagan 10-0.
