Important Deadlines for USA Rugby Sevens Clubs and Players

• Clubs and teams must be registered and in good standing by June 15
• Transfer/Registration deadline for players is July 1

Sevens season is upon us and we wanted to remind you about two important deadlines for club sevens competition.

All clubs and teams must be registered and in good standing by 11:59 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time onFriday, June 15.

Additionally, all players competing with teams playing towards the USA Rugby Club 7s National Championship must be on their club’s roster by 11:59 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time on Sunday, July 1. This deadline (July 1) also applies for players wishing to compete in the USA Rugby All-Star 7s National Championship.

If you have not registered as a player with USA Rugby yet this year, you may do so at the USA Rugby Membership site by clicking ‘Create/Renew Individual Club Membership.’ If you need to transfer clubs, you must submit a transfer request to USA Rugby by the deadline. Please note that transfer requests may take up to seven (7) business days to process from the date of the request.

The player registration/transfer deadline applies to you if:

• you are currently registered with a club that is not the club you plan on playing with for the remainder of the 2011-2012 Membership Cycle (ends August 31, 2012).

or

• you have not yet registered to the club you will be playing with for the remainder of the 2011-2012 Membership Cycle (ends August 31, 2012).

or

• you want to transfer to another club for any other reason.
