The Knoxville Possums have changed the date of their annual Tennessee 7’s tournament and added a women’s bracket this year. Instead of taking place in June, the tournament will take place on Saturday, August 4th, at Possum Park in Strawberry Plains, TN (20 minutes east of Knoxville). They are shooting for 4 to 6 women’s teams for the women’s bracket. It doesn’t matter if you are a senior club, college, or high school team, we’ll all be playing in one bracket.
The entry fee will be $150 per team. Food and beverages will be provided as part of that entry fee.
If you are interested in playing in this tournament, you can either send a check directly to the Possums, or get in touch with the match secretary of the Minx for more information. We do not know yet how many games each team will be guaranteed. It will depend on how many teams register.
