USA Rugby Releases 2012-2013 Club Eligibility Regulations

from USA Rugby:

• All member teams and players will be held to the Eligibility and Competition Regulations posted on the USA Rugby website.
• In event of any ambiguity in these guidelines, members are to seek an official interpretation from the Eligibility Committee.
• Definition of a Qualifying Competition has been incorporated throughout the Regulations.
• Existing Bylaws and Regulations have been updated to provide consistency and clarity throughout.

BOULDER, Colo. – The 2012-2013 club eligibility regulations have been released by USA Rugby’s Club Eligibility Committee and can be found on the Eligibility section of the USA Rugby website athttp://www.usarugby.org.

While registration deadlines, waiver criteria, and player participation specifications remain largely the same, there is an increased emphasis on members being responsible for meeting the Eligibility and Competition Regulations as provided on the USA Rugby website.  In addition, in the event of any ambiguity in these Bylaws, members are urged to seek an official interpretation from the CSC’s Eligibility Committee.

Key deadlines for competition include:

• Transfer/Registration deadline for women’s players remains as October 1
• Transfer/Registration deadline for men’s players remains as March 15
