Zons Keep the Heat on at Home

Even with frost on the pitch to start off the 4th match of the WPL season for the Zons and Keystone, players warmed up to get ready. Waking up to a 28 degree temp both teams knew that they would have to work extra hard to get things done that morning, fortunately for the Zons Minnesota cold was not a new concept. Kick off time lead to a quick score by winger Desiree Markovich in the far corner. Zons up 5-0. Keystone’s pack held on to possession with forward picks, but the Zons created turnovers to get their back line some clean ball and room to work their way into the try zone. Keystone drove the ball in close to the try zone a few times, but the Zons defense stopped them short. At half time the score was 41-0 at the Zons creating a commanding lead, which was not stopped in the second half. Final Score 93-0 Zons win.
