CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS: 2013 USA Rugby National Development Summit

from USA Rugby:

USA Rugby’s annual National Development Summit welcomes coaches, referees, and administrators from all over the country to participate in professional development opportunities focused on growing rugby. For the 2013 event, USA Rugby would like to open up the chance for outside presenters to promote their experience, work, and practical knowledge for the benefit of the rugby community. Regardless of experience, all are welcome to apply for a time slot.

Presentation Types – Applicants must choose the type of presentation and time slot (30 or 60 minutes) desired. Time slots are not guaranteed and presenters must be ready to adjust based on availability. Presentations must fall within one of the following categories:

1. Individual Presentation – These presentations are focused on one main topic in an informational format related to either coaches, referees or administrators.
2. Panel Discussion – These presentations are led by a panel of participants focused on one topic or discussion.
3. Practical Workshop – These presentations are geared towards teaching practical skills to participants.

Submissions are due no later than October 31. Notification of acceptance will be made by November 15.
All accepted presenters are responsible for their own conference registration, travel and accommodations.

Questions regarding presentation submission should be directed to Erin Kennedy at ekennedy@usarugby.org.
