Hong Kong Sevens is not part of the official IRB Women’s Sevens World Series, but this tournament is clearly being used by the attending teams as a stepping stone towards China 7s (Guangzhou) and World Cup Sevens in June 2013. For those teams that aren’t participating or haven’t qualified for the Sevens RWC, this is another great venue to advance their programs.
