BOULDER, Colo. — The College Management Council has set the dates for two of the 2013-14 USA Rugby National Championships.
The third USA Rugby College Sevens National Championships will be held November 23-24, 2014. The overall field has been expanded to include 24 Mens Division I teams, 16 Womens Open teams, and for the first time, no fewer than 8 and up to 12 Mens Division II/Open teams. The qualification process and criteria will be confirmed by a national committee.
The entire competition will be streamed online, while all mens and womens semifinal and final matches will be live streamed on ESPN3 and telecast on ESPNU.
The 2013-14 Men’s and Women’s Division I & II15s College National Championships have also been set and will include:
Sat-Sun, April 12-13 – Round of 32
Fri-Sun, April 25-27 – Regionals
Fri-Sun, May 9-11 – Finals
The USA Rugby Event and College Staff will be reaching out to potential hosts to confirm venues as early as possible.
