The match was first ever international match played at Markéta stadium in Prague. The whole area is brand new Centre of the Sport of Czech Rugby Union and this was its first test. The pitch is still under reconstruction but was good enough for the game.

Both teams used differrent tactics. The Czechs were trying to maximally use its backs, where they had the upper hand. The US students were visibly better in scrums, lineouts, mauls, rucks and all the game of the forwards.

And their effort was worth it. 8 minutes to fulltime another good combination of their backs was awarded with a try. The scoring player was the second centre, Kateřina Pokorná.

17 : 5

With tke ticking time it looked that match is decided. But the Browns didn’t agree. Their physical play was even more powerful and they locked the Czechs near their line for long minutes. 3 minutes to fulltime Uzoamaka Okoro scored her second try and Sofia Rudin added extras.
