• An article about Oregon State on Why Rugby Proves Girls Can be Tough Too.
• A funny blog about someone witnessing rugby for one of the first times…link.
• An Irish rugger in the US for 9 months and her experiences…rugby and the like.
• A blog complaining that Women’s Rugby has disappeared from the BBC.
• Article from americanrugbynews.com about new chair Kevin Roberts.

– On a more personal note I wanted to write a little post about myself. I just moved to Austin in June 2006 and moved for a number of reasons. One of the main reasons was to elevate my rugby experience!! One of my apprehensions of moving to a serious women’s club rugby team was the caliber of play. When you are on a college team (I played for the University of Oklahoma Roses) you hear about women’s teams, the Minnesota Valkyries, Berkley, Seattle…and you have a small amount of fear!

Now that I have moved up and on…I just wanted to share that these teams aren’t as scary as they seem! They are just a bunch of women playing the sport they love and excelling in their own lives. Just as Texas A&M found out this weekend when they played the best women’s teams in the West…anything is possible!
