Satiated Beavers Tour 2009 to Pitch A Tent 7s – Bus Broke Down, but the Tour Goes On!

Unfortunately at about 8am this morning I received a few text messages letting me know that the bus had had a great start, but 3 hours in it suffered a tragic breakdown. In buffalo, TX the radiator exploded causing the Beavers to sit on the side of the road!!

The 12 Beavers bonded together quickly to clean up the mess (we are clean beavers!), and began to plan the rest of their trip to Chattanooga, TN.

The Beavers would like to thank all those people that offered to help, offered rides, and offered to deliver pizza! The outpouring of love from Buffalo, TX has been phenomenal! “If we had alcohol and played a drinking game that everytime someone pulled over to offer help we drank, we would all be very drunk!” said Shalay Mefford.

The latest update from the stranded Beavers is that they getting rental cars worked out and they are chilling with the bus. Further updates will be provided throughout the day!

UPDATE 1:55pm: The fearless Beavers are back on the road in a rental car caravan! Unfortunately repairs to the bus would be quite expensive so we may be fundraising later in the summer! RIP da bus!
