WANTED: Hosts for the 2010 Women’s Club 7s National Championship

We are looking for a club(s) to host the 2010 Women’s Club 7s National Championship!!

For those that attended the first annual Championship last year, it was well hosted by the San Francisco Fog, but due to other commitments they cannot host the event this year L The event will only be “unofficial” for one more year because USA Rugby is planning to pick up the Women’s 7s Nationals as an official event in 2011. So we just need help this one last year to find a location!! I will be touching base with Lindsay from USA rugby to confirm the details, but it sounds as if USA Rugby can help the host team this year with Gatorade, Game Balls, Training Supplies.

The date for the Championship can be either Aug 7-8 or Aug 14-15 depending on the host location’s preference. (if the event had been San Fran we were trying to mimic the men’s event, which is why we suggested Aug 14-15, but Aug 7-8 might work better for a lot of women’s teams because it won’t interfere with the Fall 15s Season).
