Vassar Rugby Player in Need of Assistance

Dear Friends,

Most of you already know of the horrible injury that Vassar sophomore Krissa-Marie Wiechmann sustained last Friday. If not, please feel free to go to the link below and get a brief overview. We are launching an appeal for donations to assist her and her family with the costs associated with her care and rehabilitation.

I hope and trust that all the VC Rugby Community will help Krissa at this most difficult of times. I will update the page regularly and hopefully she will be able to return to Vassar for the fall semester.

Thank you to President Hill, Dean Kitzinger, Dean Roelke, Dean Brown, AD Sharon Beverly, and all those of the administration who have assisted these past few days.

Today’s Update – June 16

A huge thank you to the people who have already gone on-line to the Facebook Page and donated to help with Krissa’s recovery. She had a busy day yesterday what with occupational therapy, physical therapy, and just eating and sitting. It was great to see her for a short while able to use the laptop to answer e-mail.

I’d like you to stress that the Facebook page is a public page so you don’t have
to be a Facebook person nor do you have to become one to read updates or donate.
