GILLETTE 4 NATIONS RUGBY BEGINS OCT. 23 ON FOX SOCCER PLUS

Network features live, exclusive coverage of elite rugby league competition

Los Angeles (October 14, 2010) – Fox Soccer Plus, a premium network designed to complement Fox Soccer Channel, begins its exclusive coverage of the Gillette 4 Nations rugby league tournament on Saturday, Oct. 23.

The Gillette 4 Nations – the second year of its current format – is a rugby league competition bringing together four of the top nations in the sport: Australia, England, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea, which received an invitation after winning the 2009 Pacific Cup.

“We’ve been eager to add top-flight rugby league action to our impressive lineup of rugby union competitions on Fox Soccer Plus, and the Gillette 4 Nations series will showcase some of the brightest talents in the game,” said David Nathanson, General Manager of Fox Soccer Channel and Fox Soccer Plus.

Fox Soccer Plus’ provides exclusive coverage of all seven contests, beginning with New Zealand hosting England on Friday, Oct. 22 at 4:30 a.m. ET. The top two countries at the end of round-robin play will meet in the Final on Saturday, Nov. 13 live at 4 a.m. ET in Brisbane, Australia.
