Mardi Gras Tournament – Results

Here are the results from the 30th Annual “Throw Me Something Rugger” Mardi Gras Tournament:

The teams that attended were:

College: VA Tech, Ball State, Alabama, Delaware, Suffolk Bull Moose (a club side that played in the college bracket), Yale, Rice

Club: New Orleans Halfmoons, Buffalo Girls (Olde Girls), Atlanta Harlequins, Memphis

In the college bracket, VA Tech won the tournament and Ball State came in second. In the club bracket, Memphis was awarded the trophy due to some forfeits on the second day. It was meant to be a one-day tournament but lightning and a tornado warning made us stop play on Saturday. Sunday only featured one game.
